Benny Tarwater has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Benny started their career at Direct Alliance in 1996 as a Sales Manager for IBM Direct, where they managed sales for the company's IBM products. Benny then joined Monster in 2005 as an Internet Recruiting Manager, overseeing online recruitment efforts. After a year, they moved back to Direct Alliance as an Xerox Direct Inside Major Accounts Manager, managing major accounts for Xerox. In 2012, Benny joined ITS Infinity Trading as a Sales representative in the commercial aviation industry, providing customized aftermarket spares solutions to clients. Benny joined QuickSpark Financial in 2013 as an Account Executive, handling customer accounts. In 2018, Benny joined State Seal Company as an Industrial Account Manager, focusing on managing industrial accounts. Most recently, in 2019, they became the VP of Sales at Ascentium Capital.

Benny Tarwater attended Northeastern State University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Business Management. Following that, they pursued a Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Marketing at Oklahoma State University from 1990 to 1992.
