Adam Blair

Associate Director Oncology Data Quality at ASCO's CancerLinQ

Adam Blair has held a variety of roles in the healthcare and research industry since 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Charter Member of the University of Utah Crew Club, where they competed in local and regional races. In 2006, they became an Assistant Rowing Coach for the Utah Junior Crew and held this role until 2008. During this time, they also volunteered at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, where they researched the affect of ablation procedures on the esophagus. In 2008, they became an Actor at This Is The Place Heritage Park, where they rode horses for pioneer re-enactments and helped care for the horses and other animals. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Lead Lab Assistant at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Utah College of Behavioral Science, where they designed and ran a study with 50+ participants about hygiene adherence. In 2015, they became a Dialysis Technician at Intermountain Healthcare and a Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Data Coordinator II at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Since 2018, they have been Associate Director Oncology Data Quality, Senior Manager, Oncology Data Quality, Manager, Oncology Data Quality, and Clinical Data Review Manager at CancerLinQ\u00ae, where they are responsible for driving practice data quality and improvement for participating practices and facilitating data optimization.

Adam Blair has a diverse educational background. Adam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2015, an EMT-B from the University of Utah in 2014, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Biology, General from Salt Lake Community College between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Executive Management Certified, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management - Lean Process Certified, Become a Business Intelligence Specialist, Become a Data Scientist, Microsoft Power Automate: Beyond the Basics, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from various institutions.
