Momina Tariq has worked in a variety of roles in the bioinformatics and biomedical fields since 2014. Momina began their career as a Research Associate/Intern at Inova Health System in 2014, then moved on to become a Biology Instructor at Stemtree Education Center LLC in 2016. Also in 2016, they took on a Research Fellow position at the National Eye Institute (NEI) and a Student Assistant position at George Mason University - College of Science. In 2017, they were hired as a Bioinformatics Data Analyst at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Most recently, in 2020, they started working at CancerLinQ\u00ae as a Senior Bioinformatics Data Analyst/Team Lead, and also held roles as a Biomedical Data Specialist and Bioinformatics Data Analyst.
Momina Tariq received a Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology between 2009 and 2013. Momina then went on to receive a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from George Mason University between 2015 and 2017.
