Lucy Evans FCIPD has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Lucy is currently the Head of HR & Training at Ascot Racecourse since May 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior HR Business Partner at Toshiba from February 2016 to May 2017, and as an HR Business Partner from July 2015 to February 2016. Before joining Toshiba, Lucy was the HR Business Manager at Waterstones from July 2013 to July 2015. Lucy also served as the Regional Human Resources Manager at Gala Coral Group from October 2011 to June 2013. Lucy has experience in the Arts sector as well, having worked as the Human Resources Director at Royal Academy of Arts from July 2010 to September 2011, and as the Human Resources Manager at National Portrait Gallery from September 2003 to July 2010. Lucy started their career as a Human Resources Officer at Christian Aid from September 2002 to August 2003, and as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at John Lewis from May 2002 to September 2002. Lucy also worked as a Senior Staff Services Assistant at Sainsbury's from June 2000 to May 2002.

Lucy Evans FCIPD pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from the University of Surrey, Roehampton, which they completed between 1999 and 2002. Following this, they attended Westminster Kingsway College from 2002 to 2003 to obtain a certificate in Personnel Practice. Lucy then furthered their education at Kingston University, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from 2005 to 2007.
