Merlyn Fernandes completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at St. Stephen's College, Delhi from 2012 to 2015. Merlyn then pursued an MSc degree in International Development at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2021 to 2022. In 2021, they were awarded a Chevening scholarship. Before their college education, they attended Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School from 2000 to 2012.
