Naoto Yamamoto is currently the Director of Digital Solutions at the Asian Development Bank. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief of Enterprise Solutions for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) from 2008 to 2018. In this role, they managed UNDP's entire enterprise system, which is used by over 160 countries worldwide. Naoto also led a large number of staff in areas such as business analysis, application delivery, and production/infrastructure support.
From 2006 to 2007, Yamamoto served as the Team Leader for Business Process Reengineering at UNOPS. In this role, they managed corporate-wide business process improvements and standardization. Naoto also built and led a 12-person team responsible for business process reengineering and IT applications development. Finally, they introduced standard operating procedures for key service delivery and support processes impacting 26 offices worldwide.
Yamamoto began their career with UNDP in 1994 as a Team Leader for the Project Management Cycle. Naoto held this position until 2006.
