Tanujjal Bora is currently an assistant professor at the Asian Institute of Technology. Before this, they worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Sultan Qaboos University from June 2013 to October 2016, where they researched nanostructured materials for water applications. Tanujjal Bora has a Doctor of Engineering (D. Eng.) in Nanotechnology from the Asian Institute of Technology. Tanujjal also has a Master of Engineering - MEng in Microelectronics from the Asian Institute of Technology. Tanujjal's Bachelor's Degree is in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST).
