Charlie Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Charlie started their career as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Microsoft in 2011. Charlie then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, where they helped new computer science students learn programming concepts.
In 2012, Charlie joined Google as a Software Engineer and later became the tech lead for the Chrome power infrastructure team. Charlie designed and implemented a C++ application to integrate a hardware power monitor into Chrome's developer tracing and continuous integration framework. Charlie also managed the rollout of power monitors to the Chrome CI fleet and resolved related issues. Additionally, they worked on the Inventory Management and Forecasting team of DoubleClick for Publishers, where they designed and rolled out a new feature for notifying publishers about inventory shortages.
From 2020 to 2023, Charlie served as the Chief Technology Officer at Channels, a direct-to-consumer video streaming platform. In this role, they were responsible for developing the product vision and turning it into reality.
Most recently, Charlie joined Asimov as a Staff Product Engineer in 2023. Further details about their role and responsibilities at Asimov are not provided.
