Herman Arntzen

Herman Arntzen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Herman currently holds the position of Head of Growth and M&A / Interim CFO at Verd Gruppen AS since January 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Verd Begravelse at Askeladden & Co in September 2019. Herman then transitioned to become the Head of Growth and M&A at Verd Begravelse from September 2019 to December 2021.

Before entering the funeral industry, Arntzen worked as the CFO, Partner, and Business Development professional at Heimta AS, starting in August 2014 and ending in May 2019. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Equity Research Analyst at SpareBank 1 Markets AS from September 2009 to November 2011. Prior to that, they held positions at DNB Markets, where they served as an Equity Research Analyst from March 2007 to September 2009 and as a Customer Service / Evening Trader from September 2005 to March 2007.

Herman Arntzen has a Master's Degree in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, which they obtained between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the same institution, completing it between 2003 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications in subjects such as Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society, Central Challenges of American National Security, and Game Theory, among others, from institutions such as Coursera, edX, and Stanford | Online.
