Layne Carter

Layne Carter is an experienced operations manager currently at Aslan Brewing Co. since December 2019. Previously, Layne worked as an assistant editor at Tap Trail until January 2024, and as marketing lead for the Pink Boots Society from September 2018 to December 2019. Additional roles include social media coordinator for Elizabeth Station, bartender at both Melvin Brewing Co. and The Local Public House, and various editorial positions at The Western Front during 2016. Layne started a career in customer service as a barista at Starbucks from 2014 to 2016. Layne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Washington University, earned in 2018.
