Aevelina Rahman

Aevelina Rahman is a Principal Scientist at Regeneron since May 2021, with previous roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist in the Formulations Development Group, where responsibilities included leading drug product process development activities and supporting technology transfer. Aevelina has a robust background in computational models, having developed thermal and structural models for freeze-thaw systems, with publications stemming from these innovative projects. Academic experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, focusing on high-performance computational fluid dynamics and various aerodynamics projects, and roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and University Lecturer. Aevelina holds a PhD and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Additionally, involvement as a Journal Reviewer for ASME reflects a commitment to the advancement of engineering research.
