Michiel Haverkorn van Rijsewijk is an experienced professional with a strong background in leadership and strategic management across various sectors. Currently serving as Head of Sourcing Machine Conditioning and Director of Customer Support at ASML since February 2020, Michiel previously held roles as CEO and advisory lead at Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH), where the focus was on enhancing client experiences in superyacht technology integration. Earlier experience includes Division Director of the Renewable Energy Division at Ecofys, where Michiel provided commercial leadership and drove operations across multiple countries. Michiel's tenure at Philips Lighting spanned over a decade, including roles as VP Strategy and M&A and VP & CEO for the Middle East and Africa, focusing on strategic growth, M&A activities, and operational management. With entrepreneurial roots as Founder and Managing Director of Corngoup B.V., Michiel established early internet service and computer companies in the Netherlands. Michiel holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
