Dave Johnson

Dave Johnson, P.E. serves as the Senior Regional Engineer for the Asphalt Institute since January 2008, focusing on the organization's mission in the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond. Prior to this role, Dave was a Regional Engineer at the same institute and worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs as a Pavement Engineer for 6.5 years, specializing in pavement design, construction, and quality assurance. Additionally, Dave spent over five years as a Research Associate and Adjunct Instructor at Montana State University, concentrating on pavement engineering and construction. Dave holds a Master's degree in Transportation Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Bio-Resources focus, both from Montana State University-Bozeman.
