Michael C. Neel

Michael C. Neel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and nonprofit sectors. Co-founder, Board Director, and Volunteer at The Technology Cooperative, Inc. since May 2010, Neel has helped establish a nonprofit focused on providing technology access and education to under-served communities. As Co-founder and CEO of FuncWorks, along with a membership role at AspInsiders, Neel has contributed to the tech community since March 2009. Prior experience includes a role as Digital Media Developer at Jewelry Television since 2005, leadership in organizing CodeStock, a community conference for software developers, from 2008 to 2012, and serving as Vice President of Information Systems at Mediapulse, Inc. from 1999 to 2005. Neel's career started with the USAF as a Weather Observer and Information Management Officer from 1994 to 1998, followed by a position as Research Associate at the University of Tennessee in 1999. Neel holds education credentials from the University of Maryland, Asian Division.
