Heidi Young's work experience begins in 2008 as a Spa Coordinator at Westin Hotels & Resorts. Heidi then worked as a Barista at Starbucks from 2009 to 2010 before becoming a Sales Coordinator at SpringHill Suites by Marriott from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Lector at Lingua Viva, s.r.o. Heidi then joined Compain Anderson Azar, Ltd. as an Executive Assistant for a brief period in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Heidi held the role of Executive Assistant/Office Manager/HR Admin at Conversocial. Heidi then progressed to HR & Talent Manager at Conversocial from 2016 to 2018 and subsequently became a Senior HR & Talent Manager at the same company from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are the Director of People Operations at AspireIQ, starting in May 2021.

Heidi Young completed their education from 2006 to 2010 at Robert Morris University, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Hospitality and Tourism Management. In 2011, they earned a TESOL/TESL/TEFL Certification from Oxford Seminars Certification. Later, in 2021, Heidi Young received certification as an MTI Certified Workplace Mediator & Trainer in Conflict Resolution from Eckerd College. Heidi'smost recent certification, obtained in July 2022, is as a LifeLabs Learning Founding Community Member from LifeLabs Learning.
