Sterling Jackson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing and insights. Sterling most recently served as the Head of Marketing at Aspire, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, Sterling was the Vice President of Marketing at UserTesting from December 2018 to November 2022. Sterling also held the position of Head of Customer, Product & Marketing Insights at Intuit from November 2017 to January 2019. Before that, Sterling worked as the Head of Customer Marketing at Qualtrics from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they worked at HP as the Chief of Staff, Marketing from 2013 to 2015 and as the WW Customer & Marketing Insights from 2010 to 2013. In their earlier career, Sterling held roles as Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Microsoft from 2007 to 2010 and Senior Manager, Consumer & Market Insights at Procter & Gamble from 2003 to 2007.

Sterling Jackson has a diverse education history. Sterling attended Stanford University, where they focused on Cognitive Psychology. Sterling then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management at the University of Colorado. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology at Brigham Young University.

In addition to their formal education, Sterling has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. Sterling is certified in Product Marketing Leadership by the Product Marketing Alliance, 4DX Certified by FranklinCovey, and Certified Customer Experience Professional by the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA). Sterling is also certified by Pendo and Qualtrics, respectively, as a Pendo Certified professional and a Qualtrics Gold Certified professional. Furthermore, Sterling holds the Professionally Certified Marketer designation from the American Marketing Association.
