John Craig has a solid work experience in the field of engineering and technology. John started their career at 3001 Inc. in 2001, where they worked as a Remote Sensing Manager until 2010. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Northrop Grumman, initially as a Manager in Research & Development and later as a Technical Fellow. In 2017, they transitioned into the role of Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where they worked until 2021. In 2021, they joined Peraton as a Cyber Systems Engineer and then moved to ASRC Federal as a Lead Network Engineer.

John Craig has a diverse education history. John obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the State University of New York at Fredonia in the years 1979-1983. John then pursued further studies at the University of Florida, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from 1993-2006. Additionally, they obtained a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the same university between 1996 and 2001.

Furthermore, John Craig has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. John secured the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2018. John later obtained the Machine Learning with Python certification from Coursera in 2021, and most recently, received the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2023.
