Software Engineer at Assembled

Kadeem Nibbs is a Software Engineer who has gained work experience at various companies and organizations. Kadeem started their career at Excel Sports Academy in 2013, where they worked as a Coach and Trainer, creating sports drills and fitness programs for athletes and providing academic support. In 2015, they served as an Undergraduate Researcher at Duke University and Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory, where they attended lectures on nuclear physics and engineering and developed software to record gamma ray detections. In 2017, Kadeem participated in the Recurse Center, contributing to open-source projects and launching a word-finding service. Kadeem then joined Opendoor in 2018 as a Software Engineer until 2020. Currently, they are working at Assembled as a Software Engineer since November 2021.

Kadeem Nibbs completed their high school education at Hunter College High School from 2006 to 2012, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they attended Vassar College from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science.
