Lena Hwang

Lena Hwang has a diverse work experience in the field of analytical sciences and project management. Lena is currently working as the Senior Director of Analytical & CMC Project Management at Assembly Biosciences, Inc. prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Analytical & CMC Project Management at the same company.

Before joining Assembly Biosciences, Lena worked at Gossamer Bio as a Senior Manager of Analytical Sciences. Lena also served as the Manager of Analytical Sciences at the same company.

Lena gained valuable experience at Celgene as the CMC Stability Manager. Lena also worked as a Scientist at Ardea Biosciences, A member of the AstraZeneca Group.

Lena started their career as a Research Assistant at the Pharmacology Lab (Gee Lab) at the University of California, Irvine.

Lena Hwang completed their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2011 at UC Irvine, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with honors (Cum Laude).
