Brent Hastey

Brent Hastey has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brent is currently involved with the Association of California Water Agencies, where they served as President of the Board of Directors from 2018 to 2020 and is currently the Past President. In addition, they are also a Director at the Yuba County Water Agency since 2015. Apart from their involvement in the water sector, they have also owned Plumas Lake Self Storage since 2009. In the past, Brent has held various positions such as being a Trustee at Yuba College, an Instructor at Central Texas College, and a Supervisor at Yuba County. Brent was also a member of Rotary and a Team Member in the Nerdherd Racing Team. Throughout their career, Brent has demonstrated leadership and expertise in management, project coordination, and community involvement.

Brent Hastey started their education journey in 1977, attending Yuba College and completing their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in 1982. After that, they pursued higher studies at Golden Gate University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from 1998 to 2000.
