Rhonda Abel Lcsw

Rhonda Abel, LCSW has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and social work. Rhonda most recently worked at the Association to Benefit Children (ABC) as the Assistant Director of School-Based Mental Health, overseeing the clinical services provided to students. Prior to that, they served as the Clinical Supervisor of School-Based Article 31 Clinics at ABC. Rhonda also worked as a School-Based Mental Health Clinician at ABC. Before joining ABC, Rhonda was a Behavioral Health Clinician at Mental Health Service Corps. Rhonda also worked as a Client Care Coordinator at Sammon Build Ctr. Rhonda's experience includes serving as a Child-Parent Psychotherapist at the Association To Benefit Children and as a Social Work Intern at Forestdale, Inc. and Counseling in Schools. Rhonda has also worked as a Receptionist/Counselor 1 at ACI Outpatient Clinic and as a Dental Assistant at Brooklyn Heights Dental.

Rhonda Abel, LCSW, completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from St. Francis College in the years 2011-2015. Rhonda then pursued further studies at the Silberman School of Social Work between 2015 and 2017, obtaining a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work.
