Shirley Su

Shirley Su has over 16 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry. Shirley is currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Western Canada at Assomption Vie l Assumption Life since October 2022. Prior to this, Shirley worked at Foresters Financial as the Regional Vice President for British Columbia from May 2017 to October 2022. During their time at Foresters Financial, they also held positions such as Regional Sales Manager and Brokerage Manager. Before joining Foresters Financial, Shirley worked at RBC Insurance as an Inside Sales Consultant for Life and Living Benefits from September 2015 to March 2017. Shirley'scareer in the industry began at Dehoney Financial Group in 2006, where they served as an Account Manager for Living Benefits for nearly a decade.

Shirley Su attended Dalhousie University from 2010 to 2017, focusing on Group Benefits Associate. In 2015, they pursued a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) program at The Institute for Advanced Financial Education, and in 2014 they studied as a Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) at the same institution. Additionally, Shirley completed the Life Licensing Qualification Program (LLQP) at IFSE in 2013. Shirley also obtained certifications as a Certified Health Specialist from The Institute for Advanced Financial Education in 2015 and completed the Life Licensing Qualification Program (LLQP) from the Insurance Council of BC in 2013.
