Atsuko Shimoyama

Atsuko Shimoyama, PhD, currently serves as Senior Director of Gene Therapy Research & Technical Operations at Astellas Gene Therapies since April 2021. Previously, Atsuko held project management roles in CMC for gene therapy, nucleic acid medicine, and antibody development, as well as engaging in analytical development for biologics at Astellas Pharma Inc from April 2010 to March 2021. Atsuko earned a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Pharmacy, and Bachelor of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Science from Osaka University.
