Wesley Yung

Wesley Yung has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a specialization in data center applications. Wesley currently holds the position of Technical Director of Data Center Applications at Astera Labs, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Rambus as the Director of Applications - Data Center Products from November 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Rambus, Wesley worked at Microchip Technology Inc., where they served as the Product Technical Lead in Data Center Systems from May 2019 to November 2021. Wesley also held the position of Principal Engineer (Product Manager) from January 2017 to October 2021.

Prior to Microchip Technology Inc., they held the role of Technical Leader, Performance Storage at Microsemi Corporation from September 2013 to January 2017. Before that, they worked as a Staff Engineer in Applications Support - Enterprise Storage Division at PMC-Sierra from September 2010 to September 2013.

Wesley's earlier experience includes working as an Operations Manager at Zeugma Systems from October 2007 to October 2010, and as a Sr. Test Technology Engineer at PMC Sierra from September 2000 to December 2007. Wesley started their career as a System Integration Engineer at Raytheon, where they worked from August 1998 to August 2000.

Wesley Yung obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Psychology from the University of Victoria, which they attended from 1995 to 2000. In 2006, they pursued further education by completing a Management Series program at Simon Fraser University, specializing in Engineering/Industrial Management.
