Gajendra Ingle

Gajendra Ingle is a senior scientist at AstraZeneca since 2021, previously serving as a principal and senior scientist at Pfizer from 2015 to 2021. During a postdoctoral research assistant position at UC Berkeley from 2013 to 2014, Gajendra designed and synthesized novel substrates and performed catalyzed macrocyclization. Gajendra completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of South Florida, where key developments included a method for synthesizing chiral α-amino phosphine oxides and chiral N,S-acetals. Gajendra also obtained a Master's Degree in Bioinorganic Chemistry from Utah State University, focusing on synthesizing and characterizing metal complexes.
