Giovanni Melillo

Giovanni Melillo is an experienced leader in the field of immuno-oncology, currently serving as Vice President of Immuno-oncology in Global Medical Affairs at AstraZeneca since September 2013. Previously, Giovanni held key positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Medical Director of Discovery Medicine for Oncology and spent over two decades at the National Cancer Institute, where Giovanni led the Tumor Hypoxia Laboratory and worked as an attending physician in the Developmental Therapeutics Clinic. Giovanni’s academic credentials include a Medical Oncology Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute and multiple specialties in Clinical Immunology and Medical Oncology from the University of Naples Medical School.
