Eric Ménard

Eric Ménard has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Eric is currently the Vice President of Strategy & Business at Astrocast, a Swiss satellite operator that provides global IoT communication services. Prior to this, Eric held the position of Head of Product Management & Strategy at Astrocast, where they played a key role in the development of their Nanosatellite IoT Network.

Eric also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at e-Durable SA, a Swiss IT company focused on sustainable development. At e-Durable, they worked to promote green and responsible IT practices while maintaining high-quality IT service levels.

Before joining Astrocast and e-Durable SA, Eric worked at SITA, a global IT and telecommunications company. During their tenure at SITA, they held several leadership positions, including Director of Product Portfolio for Air Traffic Control at SITAONAIR, where they oversaw the development of communication infrastructure for the airline industry. Eric also served as the Head of Worldwide VHF Telecommunication Infrastructure and the Regional Director for the Aircraft Communication Business Unit in Africa.

Prior to their time at SITA, Eric worked at Airbus as a Project Manager, where they gained experience in managing projects within the aerospace industry.

In addition to their corporate roles, Eric also has experience in academia as an MBA Professor at the International University in Geneva.

Overall, Eric Ménard has demonstrated expertise in strategy, business development, product management, telecommunications, and sustainable IT practices throughout their career.

Eric Ménard's education history is as follows:

Eric obtained their EMBA from the International Institute in Geneva, studying from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued an Engineering degree at ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile from 1994 to 1997, specializing in Air Transport and System Engineering. Eric also holds a Bachelor's degree from Gustave EIffel School, which they acquired from 1991 to 1994. Their Bachelor's degree focused on Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies.

In addition to their formal education, Eric has obtained several certifications. Eric received a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Internationalisation of public policies from IDHEAP in January 2021. Eric also completed the Startup Board Academy program at EPFL Innovation Park in November 2020. In 2018, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Finally, Eric is currently pursuing Continuing Education in Board of Directors from ACAD - Académie des Administrateurs, with an expected completion year in 2022.
