Ramon Miguel has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. Ramon started their career as an Assistant and Software Engineer at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they developed a visual software for signal processing. Ramon then worked as a Software Engineer at Adtranz before joining KPN, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer for 16 years. At KPN, they developed resource dispatch applications used by emergency centers and also conceived and developed various interfaces and a geolocation system. After leaving KPN, Ramon joined SPIE ICS AG as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed administration applications for the Police department. Ramon then joined Synova SA as a Senior Software Engineer, where they conceived and developed applications commanding and monitoring laser cutting systems. Most recently, Ramon has been working at Astrocast as a Senior Software Engineer.
Ramon Miguel obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in the years 1992-1993. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they also earned a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution. In addition, during the same period of 1984-1988, they attended Ecole d'Ingénieurs du Canton de Neuchâtel, Le Locle and obtained a degree of Ingénieur ETS (HES) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
