Steven Russek

Chief Engineering Scientist at Astronautics

Steven Russek has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Steven worked for Astronautics Corporation of America from 2018 to 2020 as the Chief Engineering Scientist, where they led a team focused on supply chain improvements and the transfer of manufacturing technology. From 2002 to 2017, they held various positions at Astronautics Corporation of America, including Director of Astronautics Technology Center and Director of Systems Engineering. In these roles, they managed relationships with customers and partners, mentored staff, and led cross-functional teams. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2002, they worked at Air Products and Chemicals Inc., where they held positions such as Technology Manager and R&D Program Manager. In these roles, they directed the development of advanced gas separation technology and secured significant R&D contracts.

Steven Russek has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.
