Michael Occranthan

Michael Occranthan is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Accounts Payable Manager at AT Ghana since May 2023, where responsibilities include leading the procure to pay accounting and maintaining controls in the accounts payable process. Prior to this, Michael held positions at ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. Ltd. as a Treasury Supervisor/Accountant and Treasury Officer, focusing on liquidity management and general ledger duties. Additional experience includes roles as an Audit Associate at Sandacus Consulting Services and KAN Chartered Accountants, as well as serving as Assistant Finance Manager at Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel, where inventory and cost management were key functions. Earlier experience includes positions at Upper Manya Kro Rural Bank as an Assistant Teller and intern, along with a robust educational background, which includes a Professional Certificate in Tax Law/Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation - Ghana, a Chartered Accountant qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and a BSc. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
