Kiren Kresa-Reahl M.D.

Kiren Kresa-Reahl MD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of neurology. Kiren currently serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Sciences (Neurology) at Atara Biotherapeutics since 2019. Previously, they worked at Providence Health & Services as a Multiple Sclerosis Specialist, Clinical Researcher, and Neurology Educator at the Providence MS Center from 2010 to 2019. Prior to that, they were a Founding Partner at Capitol Neurology from 1996 to 2010. Kiren also worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at West Virginia University from 1997 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they served as a Fellow in Multiple Sclerosis and Movement Disorders at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital from 1995 to 1996, and as a Resident Physician in the Department of Neurology from 1992 to 1995. Kiren started their medical career as a Medical Intern at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from 1991 to 1992.

Kiren Kresa-Reahl MD attended Wellesley College from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Neuroscience. Kiren then studied at Georgetown University School of Medicine from 1987 to 1991, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine.
