Mati Mann

Mati Mann has worked at Atara Biotherapeutics since September 2019. They started as a Senior Scientist and then advanced to the role of Principal Scientist in August 2021. Currently, they hold the position of R&D Director and have been in this role since March 2023. Prior to joining Atara Biotherapeutics, Mati worked as a postdoc at the California Institute of Technology from April 2012 to June 2019.

Mati Mann obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at the same university from 2005 to 2006. Mati Mann then attended the Weizmann Institute of Science and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Genetics and molecular cell biology between 2007 and 2012.
