Maureen Galway

Maureen Galway has a diverse and extensive work experience. Maureen started their career in 1988 at the Government of Ontario, where they worked as a Staff Relations Officer at the Ministry of Correctional Services for two years. In 1990, they joined ED TEL (Edmonton Telephones) as an Employee Relations Officer/Manager.

After seven years at ED TEL, Maureen moved to TELUS in 1997, where they worked as an Employee Relations Manager for a year before joining ATB Financial in 1998. At ATB Financial, they held the role of Director, HR Business Partners for ten years before being promoted to VP, People & Culture in 2008.

Maureen's work experience highlights their expertise in employee relations and HR management.

Maureen Galway obtained a Masters of Industrial Relations degree in Labour Relations from the University of Toronto from 1986 to 1987. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Labour Relations and Management Science from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Maureen Galway obtained a certification as a Certified Digitally Well Worker from the Digital Wellness Institute in September 2023.
