Systems Engineer II at ATEC Spine

Eric Lawver has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and biochemistry. Eric worked as a Systems Development Engineer at Alphatec Spine starting in 2022. Prior to that, Eric worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a System Design Engineer from December 2020 to August 2022. In this role, they focused on designing and testing single-use pharma manufacturing equipment. Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Eric was a Process Engineer at Genentech from January 2020 to December 2020. Their responsibilities included aiding in tech transfers and performing studies and assessments to ensure product quality.

In 2018, Eric worked as a Data Science Intern at BD, where they developed data visualization tools and collaborated with engineers to implement analysis and security requirements. Prior to that, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Irvine's Cardiovascular Modeling Laboratory, where they developed MATLAB code for cell image processing and data analysis. Additionally, Eric gained experience as an Intern at KESTREL BIOSCIENCES, LLC in 2016 and 2015, where they performed lab operations, aided in the development of lateral flow and ELISA systems, and contributed to the development and manufacturing of lateral flow tests.

Eric Lawver received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to their university education, they obtained their High School Diploma from La Costa Canyon High School from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Solidworks Associate - Mechanical Design (CSWA) from Dassault Systèmes in June 2022.
