Dasunpriya (Dasun) Mallikarachchi has a wealth of work experience. Starting in 1999 as a Computer Operator (Civil Staff) for the Sri Lanka Army, Dasunpriya then moved on to start their own desktop publishing business in 1998. In 2001, they took on the role of Computer Application Assistant at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where they implemented the Course Management System using Moodle and managed the operations of 45 Computer IT Lab. In 2008, they took on the role of Systems Engineer for LankaCom (Pvt) Ltd, where they planned, implemented, deployed, and managed ICT solutions for medium to large scale businesses. In 2010, they became Senior Marketing Officer and Manager, Websites for WSO2, where they managed the end to end functionality, integrity and availability of the WSO2 website. In 2014, they were appointed Head of Marketing for Bileeta (Pvt) Ltd, where they prepared and reviewed the marketing strategy and aligned it with product and corporate strategy. In 2015, they took on the role of Business Operations Manager for Microimage Mobile Media, where they oversaw HCM Cloud project implementations for SMBs and Corporates and generated leads and identified business opportunities. In 2018, they became Technical Account Manager for Sortable, where they owned the day to day relationship and success of 30-35 clients and onboarded new clients to Sortable Ad-Tech Platform. Finally, in 2019, they became Customer Success Manager for Aterlo Networks Inc.

Dasunpriya (Dasun) Mallikarachchi has an extensive education history. In 2000, they completed a Diploma in Windows Applications from ATC in Ampara, Sri Lanka. The following year, they earned a FIT 1 & 2 from the Australian Computer Society in Information Technology. In 2001, they earned a Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering with Networking from Turnkey Computer Systems in Colombo. From 2003-2005, they completed a BIT in Computer Science from the University of Colombo. In 2005, they earned an e-Commerce degree from the University of Colombo in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce. In 2006, they completed a Professional Development course on Installing and Administration of Windows 2000/2003 Server from the Asian Institute of Technology in Information Technology. From 2013-2015, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cardiff Metropolitan University in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2019-2020, they completed an Immigration Practitioner Diploma: Laws, Policies and Procedures from the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants e-Academy in Immigration Law and Practice. Additionally, they have a certification in Managing Your Time from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2017.
