Amy Pendleton Flanagan

Amy Pendleton Flanagan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at athenahealth, Amy leads a sizable team focused on migrating systems and applications to cloud services like Azure and AWS, while reengineering monolithic applications into microservices. Previous positions include Senior Architect at Cox Automotive Inc., where Amy developed a microservices platform, and Principal Engineer at HomeAway.com, where implementation of a data pipeline and analytics platform was led. With a strong foundation in middleware and cloud-based systems, Amy also co-founded Lattice Health IoT, designing patient-focused healthcare solutions. Amy's early career featured significant roles at Nortel Networks and Telchemy, contributing to innovative middleware solutions and technical direction in network management products. Education includes a BA in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
