Suraj Vallamkonda

Suraj Vallamkonda is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Team Lead for Battery Engineering at Ather Energy since May 2016, where Suraj is responsible for designing next-generation batteries and has led a team managing Incoming Quality. Suraj has comprehensive experience in automotive design, having defined key vehicle layout parameters and contributed to the design and development of rear frames for multiple Ather models, resulting in three patents in chassis design. Prior experience includes participation in the Formula Student competition with Raftar Formula Racing and research internships at Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting and Bosch. Suraj holds a Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completed in 2016, and received primary and secondary education at Innisfree House School in Bangalore.
