Deepak Mundhra

Deepak Mundhra has over 15 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Deepak started their career as a scientist at Ranbaxy in 2005, before moving to GSK in 2006. At GSK, they held roles as an Investigator in Formulation Development and later as a Scientific Leader in Pharmaceutical Development. In these positions, they worked on various projects and gained expertise in drug formulation and development. In 2022, they joined Athira Pharma as the Senior Director of Drug Product Manufacturing. Their responsibilities at Athira Pharma include managing the development, scale-up, and tech transfer of drug products for Alzheimer's disease and ALS treatment.

Deepak Mundhra obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai from 1996 to 2000. Deepak then pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Pharmacy from St. John's University from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn in 2021.
