Joseph Plouffe began their professional career in 2010 as a Materials Management Co-Op at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing. In 2011, they took on a role as a Logistics Analyst Intern at Meijer. In 2012, they joined American Airlines as a Senior Manager of Supplier Management, and then moved into roles as Manager of Supplier Management, Manager of Warranty, Supplier Management, Senior Project Manager of Integrated Ops - Scheduled Maintenance Material Planning, Senior Analyst of Fleet Planning, and Senior Commodity Manager of Cabin Interiors. In this role, they acted as Procurement lead for 777-200 Retrofit Program and managed new aircraft delivery programs, aircraft retrofit programs, and acceptance checks. Joseph also coordinated with cross-functional groups to mitigate risks, improve supplier performance, and problem solve. Joseph concluded their tenure at American Airlines in 2021 as a Commodity Manager of Airframe. In 2021, Joseph Plouffe also began working as a Brand Ambassador at Athletic Brewing Company.
Joseph Plouffe obtained their Bachelor's of Business Administration in Integrated Supply Management from Western Michigan University between 2009 and 2011. Joseph also holds a Green Belt Six Sigma certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
