Brid O'Connor has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Brid started their career in 1999 as an Operations Manager at PCP Group, where they worked for nearly 6 years. Brid then joined Fonfix as a Support Operations Manager from 2005 to 2011. Following that, they worked at Fónua Ltd. for a period of 7 years, where they held multiple roles such as Quality and Environmental Manager and Senior Manager with responsibility for delivery. Currently, they hold the position of Head of PMO at Athora since 2019. Throughout their career, Brid has been involved in managing major projects, implementing new systems, fostering relationships with clients and vendors, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and data protection.

Brid O'Connor's education history includes various certifications and degrees in project management, quality control, data protection, and business.

In 1993, Brid O'Connor attended the University of Galway and studied Mechanical Engineering until 1999.

After that, in 2003-2004, Brid O'Connor obtained a Higher Diploma in Business from Dublin Business School.

In 2011, Brid O'Connor received a Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection from PDP. During the same year, Brid O'Connor also completed a Manaual Handling Instructor course at The CPL Institute.

In 2013, Brid O'Connor attended Trigraph Professional Training and obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

In 2017, Brid O'Connor completed an IRCA approved ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course at Irish Quality Center.

Most recently, Brid O'Connor attended the Institute of Project Management from 2018-2019 and earned a Certified Project Management Diploma.

In addition to these educational achievements, Brid O'Connor also holds the IPMA - Certified Project Management Associate certification obtained in March 2019 from IPMA: International Project Management Association.
