Roger Solano

Roger Solano has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Roger began their career at Amanco in 2009 as a Mechanical Designer, responsible for designing and maintaining plastic injection molds and extrusion machines. Roger also played a role in designing PVC final products that met ASTM standards and participated in internal quality system audits.

In 2010, Roger joined Aec, Inc. where they initially worked as a Technical Writer, creating technical documentation for the aerospace industry and training new staff. Roger then advanced to the position of Team Lead, overseeing a team of technical draughtsman and engineering students who authored technical manuals for the aerospace industry. Finally, they served as the Production Manager, managing a department of 25-30 people and successfully transferring production lines from the USA to Costa Rica.

Since 2017, Roger has been working at ATL Technology, LLC. Roger started as a Sustaining Engineer, focusing on product development, process validation, and manufacturing process improvement, while adhering to ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Roger then moved on to the role of Product Development Engineer, where they contributed to the development of connector parts, medical devices, and commercial products. Most recently, they have been the Engineering Manager, leading a group of engineers in supporting the company's growth and launching new product lines.

Throughout their career, Roger has gained experience in project management, working under high standards and regulations, such as ISO 13485 and FDA. Roger has successfully transferred manufacturing projects between different countries and has been involved in various aspects of product development, process validation, and manufacturing process improvement.

Roger Solano completed their education in a chronological order, starting in 2010 and ending in 2021. In 2010, they attended Universidad Técnica Nacional and obtained a Técnico Superior degree in Project Management. From 2011 to 2017, they studied at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electromechanical Engineering. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Finance at Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Lastly, from 2013 to 2021, they attended Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics.
