Elizabeth Howell has a diverse range of work experience. Elizabeth started their career as an Office Manager at Touche Ross (now Deloitte) in 1985. From there, they worked at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where they held various roles including Special Assistant to the CEO/Chief Compliance Officer, VP of Corporate Oversight/Chief Compliance Officer, and Vice President of Academic Administration. In these positions, they were responsible for compliance, internal audit, government relations, legal affairs, and facility expansion for the Children's system. Elizabeth also served as a liaison with academic institutions and oversaw medical teaching and research activities. In 2013, Howell joined the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities as the President and CEO, where they oversee the operations of two houses and introduced the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program. Overall, Howell has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in compliance, administration, and healthcare management.

Elizabeth Howell attended Agnes Scott College from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in History.
