Wendy Cromwell has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Wendy began their career as a reporter for the Jonesboro Sun in 1991 and later worked as a copy editor at the Albany Herald from 1993 to 1994. From 1994 to 1996, they served as a copy editor and designer at The Augusta Chronicle before joining the Albuquerque Journal as an assistant design director from 1996 to 1999. Wendy then worked as a sports designer at the Atlanta Journal Constitution from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Wendy transitioned to the field of marketing and communication, joining Agnes Scott College as a senior writer/editor. During their tenure, they developed messaging and branding for various programs and generated content for direct mail and digital channels. In 2012, Wendy joined Georgia State University as the Director of Communications, where they established the College of Law's first marketing and communication office. Wendy led the development of comprehensive marketing and communication plans and built a professional team that contributed to the university's national rank improvement.

In 2008, Wendy joined Emory University as the Associate Director of Publications and Editor of Emory Lawyer. Their responsibilities included reimagining the alumni magazine, creating the Emory Insights journal, and assisting with media relations and faculty positioning. Additionally, they managed project vendors and implemented new content strategies for increased readership.

From 2006 to 2008, Wendy worked at Georgia Institute of Technology as a Senior Information Specialist. Wendy developed messaging and branding for various programs and executed numerous direct marketing projects across different channels for professional education, distance learning, and conference centers. Wendy also contributed to the website redesign strategy for dlpe.

Most recently, Wendy served as the Digital Marketing Manager at Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC) since 2018. In this role, they set and executed the institutional digital strategy, redesigned the ARMHC website, and managed branding and design for digital and printed communications.

Throughout their career, Wendy has demonstrated their expertise in various aspects of marketing, communication, branding, design, and project management. Wendy has consistently contributed to organizational growth, reputation enhancement, and audience engagement.

Wendy Cromwell obtained their high school diploma from Valley View High School in Beebe (Ark.) Public Schools in 1987. Wendy then went on to attend Arkansas State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from 1987 to 1991. More recently, in March 2021, Wendy obtained a certification in "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues" from LinkedIn.
