Andrew Sawers has a strong background in hospitality and events management. Andrew is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Atlantic Group, where they are responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational vision of various event spaces, retail outlets, and restaurants. Prior to that, they held various roles at Peter Rowland, including Executive General Manager - Major Venues & Events, General Manager Catering, Venue & Operations Manager, and National Account Manager. Andrew also has experience at Village Cinemas Australia and Village Roadshow, where they held roles such as Operations Manager - Food & Beverage and General Manager - Site Development.
Andrew Sawers attended Galen Catholic College and completed their Higher School Certificate (HSC). Andrew also obtained several certifications, including a Course in Liquor Licensing- Licensee's First Step, Food Safety Supervisors, Food Safety for Food Handlers, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG).
