Amanda Dawson-Annan

Amanda Dawson-Annan is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Assistant at Atlantic Health System since July 2023. Responsibilities include supporting patients with mental and emotional issues, taking vital signs, and facilitating group therapy sessions. Prior experience includes working as a Patient Safety Technician, where Amanda assisted a behavioral health crisis intervention team, and as an Activity Leader for ISV- International Study & Vacation, leading student excursions. Earlier roles include a Busser at Canoe Brook Country Club, a Contact Tracer at The Computer Merchant, and a Sales Associate at Bob's Stores. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from UCNJ Union College of Union County.
