Joseph Schafer

Joseph Schafer currently serves as Culinary Director at Atlantic Hospitality, a position held since February 2025. Previously, Joseph held the role of Culinary Director and Executive Chef at Kennebunkport Resort Collection from June 2017 to October 2025. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Chef at Blantyre from September 2016 to June 2017 and Co General Manager and Executive Chef at The Lodge at Glendorn from June 2008 to September 2016. Joseph also worked as Chef de Cuisine at Relais & Châteaux, The White Barn Inn from April 2005 to June 2008, and gained foundational experience as a stageier at Restaurant Helen Darroze in early 2005. Joseph's early culinary roles include Chef de Partie at Triple Creek Ranch and The Lake Placid Lodge, and Executive Chef at Irises Wine Bar. Joseph began culinary training at New England Culinary Institute, earning an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts.
