Clare Miller

Clare Miller is delighted to represent Atlantic Union Bank as the Chief Human Resources Officer, responsible for the development and execution of Atlantic Union Bank's Human Resource’s Strategy to support teammate excellence, development and engagement. She has enterprise HR responsibility for compensation & benefits, talent development, diversity, equity & inclusion, talent acquisition, succession management, employee relations & HR technology. Creating and contributing to a “Best Place to Work” culture has been a core and consistent tenant throughout her career.

She is a results-oriented human resources practitioner with an endless passion for talent – finding it, aligning it and accelerating its performance of it. She enjoys building and developing high-performing teams and contributing to a workplace culture that makes for an exceptional teammate experience.

Before joining Atlantic Union Bank, she served as Chief Talent Officer for Huntington Bank where she was a proud contributor to the attainment of the 2022 Forbes Best Large Employer Award. In 2019, the team was awarded the Team Excellence Award by Columbus CEO magazine, and previously in 2015 she was named HR Executive of the Year.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in organizational communications, a management certificate in Human Resources: Selection & Staffing from Cornell University, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, Prosci Change Management certification and the Crucial Conversations Training Facilitator certification.
