Michael Brown

Michael Brown has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Michael currently holds the position of SVP, Director of Small Business Banking at Atlantic Union Bank since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Wells Fargo for over a decade, starting as an AVP, Store Manager and gradually progressing to the role of Vice President, Regional Banking District Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the retail business in the Fairfax Central market, overseeing the sales, service, and operational performance of multiple store locations and a team of 130 members. Michael has demonstrated expertise in coaching and developing team members, achieving acquisition and credit goals, and maintaining strong business relationships. Michael's tenure at Wells Fargo lasted from September 2008 to September 2019.

Michael Brown attended Westminster High School from 2001 to 2004. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at Muhlenberg College, where they pursued a double major in Finance and Business Management. Michael completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 2008. In 2021, Michael began their graduate studies at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, specializing in Banking and Financial Support Services. Michael is expected to complete their study program and earn a Stonier Diploma and Wharton Leadership Certificate in 2023.
