Michael Eichhorn

Michael Eichhorn has extensive work experience in the vacuum technology industry. Michael began their career at Voith Paper GmbH as a Trainee in 2004. Michael then moved to Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum GmbH in 2007, where they worked as a Project Manager Solutions. In 2010, they joined Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum USA Inc. as a Solutions Manager. Michael later became the Senior Manager Solutions Worldwide & Strategy at Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum GmbH in 2013. In 2014, they were promoted to Head of High Vacuum Systems at Oerlikon. In 2016, they joined Leybold as the Head of Systems and finally transitioned to their current role as the Vice President Systems + Solutions, Vacuum Technique - Industrial & Scientific Vacuum Division at Atlas Copco in 2017.

Michael Eichhorn completed their Master of Engineering degree in Maschinenbau at Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2004. Michael then pursued a Master of Business&Engineering degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at Hochschule Niederrhein from 2006 to 2007.
