Darae Calloway has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They started their career as a Shift Supervisor at Rite Aid, where they managed store associates, provided customer service, and handled financial tasks. They then joined UPMC as a Medical Records Technician, responsible for preparing and maintaining patient charts. At the University of Pittsburgh, Darae served as an Administrative Assistant, Benefits Representative, and Compensation Coordinator, performing a range of duties related to benefits administration, event organization, and data management. They later returned to UPMC as a Compensation Analyst, providing consultation and conducting evaluations for compensation-related issues. Most recently, Darae worked as a Compensation Analyst at Pittsburgh Regional Transit, where they participated in wage and salary program planning and analysis. They currently hold the position of Total Rewards Analyst at Atlas Healthcare Partners.

Darae Calloway, HCI/UPMC sHRBP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Outreach Ministry from Juniata College, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Strategic Human Resources Business Partner from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in March 2020.
